Description: WIC offers the Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Program which is a program for prenatal moms that supports them through their pregnancy up until baby is 6 months to 1 year of age. We offer free live breastfeeding information classes weekly, latch assessments, pumps and additional support with designated breastfeeding experts and an IBCLC. WIC also just launched our free Breastfeeding Buddy Program where breastfeeding moms and or pregnant moms who wish to breastfed, can be matched up with another prenatal or breastfeeding WIC mom for additional support. Any mom who is in need of breastfeeding support (no matter the age of baby) can call our peer counselors for free support and help.
