- The Luzerne County Breastfeeding Coalition was organized to establish breastfeeding as a cultural norm in the community by advocating the promotion, protection, and support of breastfeeding. Our members believe that establishing more resources for prenatal and breastfeeding mothers will encourage breastfeeding practices and improve breastfeeding outcomes. Our membership is a beautiful blend of lactation experts, healthcare providers, nonprofit and social service sector leaders, parents, caregivers, birth workers and community members interested in advancing the cause.
