- Sistahs who Breastfed (SWB) is Sistah to Sistah breastfeeding support group exclusively for black mamas. SWB is a judgement free space for black mamas to thrive, learn and grow in their motherhood journey. Many black mothers don't reach their breastfeeding goals, our mission is to change that. Black mamas have the right to breastfed and have their choices respected and honored. Our model supports elevating the experiences of Black breastfeeding mamas. We are the experts on us! In a world where there is so much inconsistent breastfeeding information, we help our families understand the most current evidence in breastfeeding to help them make the decisions that are best for them. All chapter leaders have personal breastfeeding experience and have gone through extensive breastfeeding training
