Maine Mother + Company is your place for solid, unbiased information and support. A judgement free zone where you can work out the best choices for YOUR family. Feeding your new baby is not always rainbows and unicorns. If it was, lactation consultants wouldn’t even exist! Studies show support is the number one factor in meeting feeding goals. This is why we have put an entire lactation team together. You can often get help within 48 hours of reaching out. We also offer multiple support groups each week to help you stay connected between visits. We offer visits in our offices in Brunswick, Scarborough, and Farmington, as well as virtual visits. All of our options include 3 weeks of text follow up support from your lactation team. Visits include weight, feeding observation, with optional pre and post feeding weight to evaluate milk transfer, and a written feeding plan. We take many insurance plans. Private pay rates are $250 for an initial visit, and follow up office visits are $200. We accept FSA and HSA payments.
