- As Atlanta's first established private lactation practice, we have been helping families to feed their babies since 1988. We are dedicated to helping families comfortably meet their breastfeeding goals anywhere in their journey. Our mission is to promote, protect, and support breastfeeding by providing families with breastfeeding care, support, service, and education. We value our patients and strive to treat them like family. We offer comprehensive lactation consultations that include breastfeeding assessment of the breastfeeding person and baby, with observation of a feeding session using pre and post feeding weight checks. At LCA, our families are part of the healthcare team, and a written goal and care plan will be decided on to help you meet your breastfeeding goals and resolve any issues. Our consultations last 1.5-2 hours, can be done in your home, our office, virtually or by phone. We also offer prenatal consultations and classes, return to work consultations and classes, and management of corporate lactation programs. Nancy has been with LCA for years as the Midtown Pump rental station. Nancy is a recent graduate for the Georgia Northwestern Technical College lactation program. Nancy graduated with honors, took and passed her board exams in September 2020.
